The Battery Road Notes SMS Program is operated by Battery Road Notes, a DBA of Coverage Key Auto LLC.

Program description

The Battery Road Notes SMS Program sends two kinds of text messages, each under its own separate consent. Account Notifications cover subscription activity such as guide delivery, content access updates, opt-in and opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests. Marketing messages cover promotional offers, featured website resources, special campaigns, and announcements about newly available guides and tools. The program does not send quotes, applications, eligibility screening, sales calls, referrals, or partner marketing.

Message categories

• Account Notifications: Account notifications tied to your subscription. Service messages tied to your signup: guide delivery, content access updates, opt-in and opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests. Message frequency varies based on account activity.
• Marketing: Recurring marketing messages. Promotional offers, announcements about new products and services, featured website resources, special campaigns, and updates about newly available guides and tools. Generally up to 4 messages per month.

Each category requires its own separate consent. Consenting to one category never enrolls you in the other.

Opt-in method

You opt in by checking the box for a specific message category on our subscribe page and providing a valid mobile number. All boxes are unchecked by default. A phone number submitted without a checked SMS box is never treated as consent, and accepting our Terms of Use is not SMS consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, access, or use of this website. When you opt in we record the phone number, selected category, consent timestamp, source page, disclosure version, browser user agent, and, where available, IP address.

Message frequency

Up to 4 messages per month per selected category. Frequency varies with the season and the categories you selected.

Message and data rates

Msg & data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile plan and carrier.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message from the program to cancel. We will send one confirmation message for the applicable program and then stop sending messages in that category. We will not resume messaging unless you opt in again.

How to get help

Reply HELP to receive the program name and contact information, or email support@batteryroadnotes.com. Your first message will identify Battery Road Notes and match the category you selected.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you submit. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Information collected through the program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Mobile opt-in data

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.

Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms as the program changes. The current version is always posted on this page with a revised date.
